Duncan is Chief Data Officer for Times Higher Education, but has previously been a Chair of Trustees for Family Service Units, and a Trustee for various other not for profits and community organisations. He has been a Chair of Governors for a primary school, and a City Councillor. Most importantly he was one of the founders and was the first Chair of Trustees of DataKind UK. He believes strongly in the potential of data acting for the broader benefit of society.
