Phil Riley


With a previous fifteen year career rooted in marketing and management of community projects within the arts sector – since 2014 Phil has succeeded as the key fundraiser for two small charities. Now in his fourth year with Inter Care (Medical Aid for Africa), he has been primarily responsible for Trusts and Foundations fundraising – a role which relies heavily on written communications. Phil enjoys developing so, when the Royal Statistical Society’s project opportunity was presented, to improve the impact of his charities’ communications, he was keen to sign up.

This session will look at how to present output data of charitable organisations for fundraising purposes. We’ll showcase a project done with charity Inter Care, carried out with the support of the Royal Statistical Society’s pro bono initiative, Statisticians for Society.
