Michael Tjalve is a Principal Nonprofit Architect on the Tech for Social Impact team in Microsoft Philanthropies where he works on accelerating nonprofit innovation and building technology solutions that help organizations amplify their impact. Michael is an Assistant Professor at University of Washington where he teaches AI and innovation and he is actively engaged in technology initiatives for the humanitarian sector and underserved communities as a board member of Spreeha Foundation. He is a Fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts where he works on raising awareness of AI and its role in society.
