Oliver is the Evaluation Manager at Imperial Health Charity, an NHS charity supporting patients and staff at five London hospitals through grants, arts and volunteering. He previously worked at NPC and The Prince’s Trust. Oliver is a ‘data viz’ enthusiast using it internally and externally to aid communication and learning at his charity. Outside of this role, he creates charts on a range of topics and co-created the Funding Trends website—a finalist in 360Giving’s Data Visualisation Competition.

How to use more data visualisation in your charity

Whether it was Covid-19 charts, or US election maps, in 2020 the public became more familiar than ever with data in visual form. But sadly, too few in the social sector use this mix of design and statistics effectively. This session will focus on how they should be using data visualisation to aid decision-making and communication, and how to do it well.
